Head Stop

Obama said he would “eliminate programs that don’t work”. Oh goody. So how about starting with the boondoggle called Head Start? An earlier version of the just-released multi-year study by Department of Health & Human Services had found a few modest improvements in the language skills of participating students while they were enrolled in the program. But by the end of the first grade, even those few effects had disappeared. Well, then, by all means let 'em run healthcare!
